 Golf
is a very popular mountain activity here in Brevard NC and when you stay with us

courses in the surrounding area. Imagine playing a round on a beautiful NC mountain
course, surrounded by the
Pisgah National Forest and the Blue Ridge Parkway. If
you are planning a North Carolina mountain golf vacation then look no further.

Cummings Cove course, in Hendersonville, is an 18-hole championship course
located near the banks of the French Broad River that offers some challenging
holes amidst some spectacular scenery.
Connestee Falls course is a semi-public course, and is located just a few miles
from Brevard. Here players can enjoy the beautiful layout while encountering
some of the wildlife from time to time, as players commonly report seeing a
variety of deer and other woodland creatures. Sherwood Forest is another golf course in
Brevard NC that is perfect for the whole family. The first nine holes of the
course run through the Little River Valley and contain some picturesque
greens, while the last half of the course meanders through the woods and is
often quite challenging for even the most avid golfers.
The Cliffs at Walnut Cove celebrated it's grand opening in April of 2005 and
features Asheville's only golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus. According
to the PGA TOUR, the Walnut Cove course is the only championship golf course to
debut in tournament-ready conditions. In the near future our area will get
to enjoy another new course designed by a golf celebrity. Tiger Woods recently
announced that he will be designing the golf course at The Cliffs at High
Carolina near Asheville, scheduled to be ready for play in 2010.
