and great places to enjoy horseback riding throughout our region. Visitors can
take their own horses through locations of the
Pisgah National Forest,
DuPont State Forest and on parts of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Do not miss the opportunity

If you don't own your own horse, spend the day horseback riding with a guided
tour. Below we have listed some of the area’s renowned horseback riding guides
and stables. The local horseback riding guides will educate you about equestrian
safety and take you through their private, mountain trails. Smaller children can
enjoy the pony rides offered at Sparkle Farm, a small farm located just outside
of Hendersonville in Etowah. Throughout the warmer months, Sparkle Farm offers
tours of the farm and also gives kid-friendly pony tours.
